Pāritōṣikam is a distinguished collection of Sanskrit poems authored by Śrī K. Ramakrishna Warrier, a member of a highly respected family known for producing many eminent Sanskrit scholars. Remarkably, he began his formal study of Sanskrit only after retiring from professional service, despite his earlier academic proficiency in languages such as Hindi and German.
 
A prolific writer in both Sanskrit and Malayalam, Warrier has authored numerous essays and scholarly works. Among his notable contributions are a Sanskrit translation of Rabindranath Tagore’s Gītāñjali, a poetic tribute in Sanskrit to Swami Chinmayananda, and a biographical poetic composition on Śrī Ramakrishna Paramahamsa.
