OUR JOURNEY.
LiveSanskrit has been a vibrant odyssey, a passionate endeavor to not merely safeguard the ancient eloquence of Sanskrit but to breathe into it the very essence of contemporary life. We envisioned a renaissance, where this timeless tongue would resonate not as a relic of the past, but as a living current coursing through the arteries of modern thought, art, and understanding.
About Us
Our journey at LiveSanskrit began with a fervent desire to revitalize Sanskrit, not as a relic, but as a vibrant force in the modern world. From our base, we embarked on this mission, first through the compelling medium of cinema, producing acclaimed films like "Anurakti" and "Namo" that showcased Sanskrit's storytelling power to global audiences.
Recognizing the need for accessible learning, we expanded into education, creating textbooks, study materials, and video lessons to simplify Sanskrit acquisition. Our workshops aimed to awaken educational institutions to the language's enduring significance.
To connect enthusiasts with Sanskrit's cultural roots, we conceived Dyuti Sanskrit Riders, offering immersive tours to historically significant locations. Furthermore, we collaborated on the revival of "Bharatamudra," a key periodical, ensuring the continuity of Sanskrit scholarship for contemporary readers.
Our path has been a dynamic blend of creativity, education, exploration, and preservation. Rooted in cultural heritage, LiveSanskrit strives to share the beauty and wisdom of Sanskrit globally, fostering a community that appreciates and engages with this extraordinary language. We are torchbearers, illuminating the world with the timeless light of Sanskrit.

Krishnadevaraya.
Krishnadevaraya was an emperor of the Vijayanagara Empire, who reigned from 1509 to 1529. He was the third ruler of the Tuluva Dynasty.[citation needed] He ruled the largest empire in India after the decline of the Delhi Sultanate. Presiding over the empire at its zenith, he is regarded as an icon by many Indians. Krishnadevaraya earned the titles Karnatakaratna simhasanadeeshwara ("king of Karnataka Ratna Simhasana"), Yavvana raja pratistaphanacharya ("Establisher of Young king to Bahamani Throne"), Kannada Rajya Rama Ramana ("Lord of the Kannada empire"), Andhra Bhoja ("Andhra Scholar King" or "King Bhoja of Andhra"), Gaubrahmana Pratipalaka ("Protector of cows and brahmins") and Mooru Rayara Ganda ("King of Three Kings"). He became the dominant ruler of the peninsula by defeating the sultans of Bijapur, Golconda, the Bahmani Sultanate and the Gajapatis of Odisha, and was one of the most powerful Hindu rulers in India. Indeed, when the Mughal Emperor Babur was taking stock of the potentates of north India, he rated Krishnadevaraya the most powerful, with the most extensive empire in the subcontinent. He earned the titles of 'Kannada Rajya Rama Ramana' , 'Andhra Bhoja' and 'Mooru Rayara Ganda'.
